Yes. I see clients in person in La Jolla, San Diego and virtually throughout California. EMDR and IFS both work well in either format, so you don't have to choose based on what's "better," just what fits your life.

Our first session is a chance for me to get to know you and for you to get a feel for whether this feels like the right fit. We'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, a bit of your history, and what you're hoping for. There's no agenda beyond that, and you don't need to have it all figured out before we start.

There is no definitive answer to how long therapy takes. It depends on your goals and the challenges you're facing. Some clients find relief after a few months, while others benefit from longer-term work to address deeper patterns. We'll regularly review your progress to make sure therapy continues to meet your needs.
Many clients choose to continue therapy as new challenges arise, while others feel ready to apply what they've learned outside of session. There's no right or wrong approach. We'll figure out what feels best for you together.

Holistic Flow Therapy is a private pay practice. While I don't accept insurance directly, I can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Check with your provider to confirm your out-of-network benefits.

By choosing not to accept insurance, I can focus on providing the highest quality of care without restrictions. Insurance companies often limit the number of sessions, dictate treatment approaches, or require diagnoses that may not align with your goals for therapy. A private pay model means we can tailor your therapy to your unique needs without outside interference, and it keeps your care confidential.

I understand that therapy is an investment, and affordability can sometimes feel overwhelming. If my standard rate feels beyond your budget, let's talk about it. When it's clinically appropriate, I'm happy to explore options like adjusting session frequency or a sliding scale based on availability and your income. My goal is for you to feel supported, not priced out of the work.
