Therapy Investment
Invest in yourself, invest in your future
Therapy Session
Therapy requires time, energy, and financial commitment, but it is also one of the most meaningful investments you can make. At Holistic Flow Therapy, I don’t just focus on short-term fixes. My goal is to help you create lasting change in the way you feel, relate, and move through the world.
I charge $175 per 50 minute session. A sliding scale is available for those with financial need, determined on a case-by-case basis. If you’re interested, please reach out. Most clients attend therapy weekly, though some choose to meet every other week once steady progress has been made.
Cancellation Policy: Your session time is reserved just for you. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.
Insurance
Holistic Flow Therapy is considered an out-of-network provider for PPO insurance plans. If your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be able to receive reimbursement for a portion of your session fees.
I partner with Thrizer, a service that makes it simple to submit claims and maximize your benefits. Many of my clients use Thrizer and successfully receive partial reimbursement for their sessions. [Click here to learn more.]
I can also provide a detailed receipt, called a superbill, which you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please note that I do not bill or communicate with insurance providers on your behalf.
If you’d like to explore your benefits, consider asking your insurance provider the following questions:
Does my plan cover out-of-network mental health services?
Do I need to meet a deductible before reimbursement begins?
How many therapy sessions are covered per year?
What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
If you have questions about how the superbill or Thrizer process works, I’d be glad to help you understand your options.
Good Faith Disclaimer
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
