Holistic Therapist in San Diego
Meet Aleah - A Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Holistic Flow Therapy
Heal from the roots, reconnect with yourself, and build relationships that feel safe.
As a holistic therapist in San Diego, I help clients move beyond survival mode - without getting stuck in endless talk therapy.
Maybe you’re a high-functioning adult who feels burnt out—like the work never ends and you’re barely holding it all together. Or maybe you’ve been through therapy before but still feel overwhelmed and ashamed when you get triggered, which only fuels self-criticism and self-sabotage. Or maybe you’re a partner exhausted by the ups and downs of your relationship, ready to finally get to the root of these struggles.
If any of this sounds familiar, working with a holistic therapist in San Diego may be the support you’ve been looking for.
My Approach
Clients describe me as grounded, curious, and attentive—with a warm sense of humor that makes the work feel lighter. I can be gentle when that’s what’s needed, but I’ll also be direct and challenging when it helps you see things in a new way.
I see therapy as a collaboration. My role isn’t to “fix” you, but to partner with you—to meet you where you are, uncover what’s driving your struggles, and help you find a path forward that feels safe and sustainable.
I’m a relational therapist, which means I believe the connection we build together is the foundation for your healing. Research shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is the best predictor of lasting change. If you can feel safe with me, that safety begins to ripple into your other relationships too.
As a holistic therapist, I integrate mind, body, and relational approaches so that you’re not just learning coping skills—you’re creating real, embodied change.
What Therapy With Me Looks Like
Working with me as your holistic therapist in San Diego means you’ll get more than traditional talk therapy. I integrate EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and yoga-informed practices to go deeper than coping skills. Together, we’ll use experiential methods that help you actually feel the changes you’re working toward, not just think about them.
The clients I see experience the biggest shifts when they begin to show compassion for the parts of themselves they’ve been at war with. When that happens, real transformation becomes possible.
At The End of the Day…
My goal is to help you build a steadiness in your life and relationships—a calm confidence that comes from knowing you can handle what life brings without losing yourself.
Healing doesn’t have to take forever. Once you start addressing the root causes of your struggles and reconnecting with your whole self, change can happen faster than you think. As a holistic therapist in San Diego, my ultimate goal is to help you feel steady, confident, and deeply connected—both with yourself and with others.
The Foundation of My Work
-
Understanding
Our past experiences shape the way we respond in the present. As a holistic therapist in San Diego, I help you see that your reactions aren’t random—they’re protective, even if they no longer serve you.
-
Compassion
Healing begins when you can show kindness to the parts of yourself you’ve wanted to push away. Together, we’ll create space for those parts and discover the role they’ve played in keeping you safe.
-
Mindfulness & Education
Knowledge is power. When you understand your nervous system and trauma responses, you gain tools to regulate, patterns become clearer, and change feels possible.
-
At the heart of my work is this belief: you are not broken. Your anxiety, disconnection, or emotional reactivity are not personal flaws—they are protective responses from a nervous system shaped by your past.
As a holistic therapist in San Diego, my role is to create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where we explore those patterns at their root. Together, we’ll work to:
Understand the connection between past trauma and present struggles
Honor and soften protective parts (like overachieving, people-pleasing, or avoidance)
Heal attachment wounds and relational pain
Build internal trust, emotional safety, and deeper self-connection
Viewing health holistically means looking at the whole picture—mind, body, relationships, and the core beliefs that guide us. When we address these interconnected areas together, you gain the foundation for meaningful, lasting change.
Many of my clients grew up in toxic or dysfunctional families, leaving them feeling unsafe in relationships and disconnected from themselves. These early experiences often create barriers to love and connection in adulthood, perpetuating patterns of fear, avoidance, or insecurity. My work focuses on helping you heal from these past wounds, rebuild trust in yourself and others, and cultivate the fulfilling, supportive relationships you deserve.
Therapy should be about more than coping—it should be about transforming your life by addressing the root causes of pain and embracing a balanced, integrative approach to healing. Together, we’ll work toward creating the love, connection, and well-being you’re worthy of.
-
I am committed to creating a practice that is safe, inclusive, and affirming for all people. I welcome clients of every race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, and background. My goal is to hold a space where you feel seen, heard, and respected—just as you are.
If you’re looking for a holistic therapist in San Diego, I’d love to support you on your path to healing.

I’ve been working in trauma-focused therapy since 2016, helping individuals and couples heal from the impact of trauma and build stronger, more connected lives.
